This position is responsible for providing technical leadership, expertise and guidance related to the design, development, and implementation of infrastructure solutions that enable our business objectives. A primary contact for Architecture to consult with on vision and infrastructure. This position will have a range of coaching and architectural duties, depending upon the specific assignment.
Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of seven to ten years’ relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experienced in leading and implementing the design and delivery of infrastructure solutions.
Experience in Healthcare and Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation industry is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
EA or I&O background with hands-on experience in cloud, virtualization, and development
Variable work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required due to the nature of installed technologies and utilization requirements.
Proven experience working with project teams in an influential role to deliver enabling solutions based on business requirements, technology standards, service level agreements and approved funding.
Must have experience in identifying and implementing sound design patterns and capable of leading and facilitating design and modeling workshops with both business and technical team members.
Must be comfortable with change, close collaboration, and have conflict resolution skills.
Knowledge of or willingness to learn Agile / DevOps practices.
Preferred background with strong hands-on expertise working with Microsoft, IaaS, PaaS, Linux, Cisco, Storage, Security, Middleware, database systems, java, and public and private cloud.
